Mare a Mare Centre - Stage 7 (a)

In the auberge on Col St. George, you can have breakfast as early as 6 AM. That's actually pretty useful, because you may want to get an early start so you can use your time in the afternoon to go to Ajaccio. But first, you have the seventh and last day of the Mare a Mare Centre ahead of you.

You start at the auberge, first there is a short climb and then a beautiful stretch of rather flat terrain at over 900 meters. The views in all directions can be stunning.

Not only in most villages, but also at key points of every stage you'll find small signs that indicate the direction for your next destination but also the time it takes to walk there. Distance is never displayed, since the elevation determines how long it takes to get anywhere, not the distance on the map.
