The second stage of the Mare a Mare Centre begins at the gite in Serra di Fiomorbu. The information panel shows estimated walking times for various destinations.
A few hundred meters south of the gite, you leave the road and enter a path that was already visible from the gite. You walk on top of a long stretched hill, with great views to the north and south. It's a gradual climb, and after a few hours, you reach the highest point of the day, at 957 meters.
The terrain is quite open on this stage, so you can see the path you just walked and the place of origin, Serra di Fiomorbu.
