Mare a Mare Centre - Stage 1 (a)

The starting point of the Mare a Mare Centre is a few kilometers south of the village of Ghisonaccia, at a bridge that crosses the river Abatescu (Pont de l'Abatescu).

From Bastia, you can take a bus that leaves each morning at 8.30 AM from the corner of the Avenue Marichal Sebastiani and the Boulevard Paoli. That's directly opposite the main post office, and next to the travel agency Corsicatours. The photo to the right shows me, waiting to get on the bus.

The trip costs € 27,00 per person, and that includes all of your bags. Tickets are available inside the travel agency.

Make sure you tell the driver that you want to get off the bus at 'Pont de l'Abatescu', otherwise he might just take you all the way to Porto-Vecchio.
